Your new role
The Manager, Events is responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating a program of event engagement in support of the organisation’s strategic objectives. Working autonomously, this position will support the strategic priorities of the program through the delivery of tailored events and communication programs that increase engagement and participation.
The successful candidate will develop mechanisms within the organisation to identify and recognise key opportunities for event engagement, including recruitment and marketing initiatives. Promoting and coordinating the organisations networks whilst identifying opportunities to expand and improve the effectiveness of the program; and assist with the establishment of new networks and efficiencies.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Advanced ability to build relationships quickly with stakeholders at varying levels.
- Strong demonstrated experience running end to end high level events with limited direction
- Highly developed and effective interpersonal, communication, writing and organisational skills, including attention to detail, discretion and sound judgement.
- A DHS Working with Children Clearance is vital
- The ability to start immediately and fulfil a 6-month contract
