Senior Commercial Officer

Working with one of the largest Defence providers globally, working on complex Defence projects.
Working for one of the largest Defence providers globally, you’ll be joining a dynamic and motivated department taking part in the roll-out of a complex, agile Defence projects.


They are currently looking for an experienced Senior Commercial Officer based in Williamtown to join their team on a permanent basis.


Responsibilities


This role will provide high-priority functions within ACSPO and will be responsible for:
  • Managing allocated resources, setting work area priorities, managing workflows, develop strategies, and evaluate business outcomes.
  • Conduct research to identify market trends, analyse data to assess market demand, pricing strategies, and business growth opportunities.
  • Interpret and provide assistance and advice on complex procurement and contract management issues.
  • Conduct reports, submissions, plans and strategies to deliver best outcome for the project.
  • Cultivate relationships with clients, negotiate contracts.


Role requirements


  • Current NV1 security clearance or above required.
  • Experience with front-end contract development.
  • Knowledge and working experience with Pre-gate 0.
  • Acquisition contract experience, preferably in a Defence environment.
  • Knowledge of committee processes.
