A leading company in Defence is known for their comprehensive knowledge and for being the world’s major players in Aerospace, Defence, Security and are global solutions providers. This is a growing company looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working customer support manager to facilitate their defence function. This is a full-time role located in Essendon.

Your new role

The CSM shall act both externally towards the Customer, as Customer Representative, and internally towards all the Company functions involved, to identify the required actions, to monitor their progress in accordance with a feasible time schedule and to verify their effectiveness in achieving, or even exceeding, the Customer's operational requirements.

  • Act as the day by day main contact for each customer (Maintenance, Pilots, Management staff), providing timely responses to their needs, tracking and monitoring company's responses;
  • Resolving operational issues, both in terms of feasibility, time schedule and cost impact;
  • Influence customer operational standards, proposing company “service solutions” as part of joint improvement initiatives;
  • Be involved with orders and purchase orders


What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualifications in relevant
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Experience working with CRM tools, specifically SAP.
  • Experience in engineering/customer service
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills and orientation (reactivity, courtesy, efficiency).
  • Able to work in highly demanding environments to meet customer deadlines.
  • Background in aeronautical or aviation environment is highly desirable.
