Hays have exclusively partnered with Centacare North Queensland for the recruitment of 4 management positions within their organisation. Centacare NQ is a not-for-profit organisation that provides valuable counselling, family support, mediation, family dispute resolution, education, homelessness, youth, community engagement and NDIS services to the local community.

Your new role

You will manage a team of up to 10 staff and report to the Director of Client Services. Your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Oversight and management of daily operations of the Education & Life Skills, Gambling Help and Financial Resilience services across the organisation, including provision of performance development, practice direction, employee support, and supervision

• Ensure appropriate reporting is carried out within expected timeframes and the program operates within expected governance frameworks

• Operational oversight of program practices and service delivery to maintain integrity of program deliverables in line with legislation, funding body and organisational requirements.

• Undertake continuous improvement activities to ensure services are operating at an optimal level.

• Maintain strong, productive relationships with all internal and external stakeholders including peers, funding body representatives and community partners.
  
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Tertiary qualifications in Social Sciences, Psychology, Behavioural Sciences, or related field

• Experience in a senior people management position

• Demonstrated knowledge of governance reporting responsibilities and timeframes, within the Queensland government-funded community service Human Services Quality Framework

• Current Drivers Licence, Disability Worker Screening and Blue Card
