Hays have exclusively partnered with Centacare North Queensland for the recruitment of 4 management positions within their organisation. Centacare NQ is a not-for-profit organisation that provides valuable counselling, family support, mediation, family dispute resolution, education, homelessness, youth, community engagement and NDIS services to the local community.
Your new role
You will manage a team of up to 13 staff and report to the Director of Client Services. Your duties will include (but are not limited to):
Oversight and management of daily operations of the BRIDGE, ROSA and CIS programs across the organisation including provision of performance development, practice direction, staff support, supervision and mentoring, and program data collection.
Counselling Intervention Service (CIS) / ROSA: State government-funded services that provide counselling and support to families referred by the Department of Child Safety, Seniors, and Disability Services to support children to grow and thrive in a home environment that is stable, safe and responsive.
BRIDGE Family Support service: an early intervention program aimed at supporting healthy family relationships, through provision of community and in-home support for families in the local region.
Ensure appropriate reporting is carried out within expected timeframes and the program operates within expected governance frameworks
Operational oversight of program practices and service delivery to maintain integrity of program deliverables in line with legislation, funding body and organisational requirements.
What you'll need to succeed
Tertiary qualifications in Social Sciences, Psychology, Behavioural Sciences, or related field
Experience in a senior people management position
Demonstrated knowledge of governance reporting responsibilities and timeframes, within the Queensland government-funded community service Human Services Quality Framework
Current Driver's Licence, Disability Worker Screening and Blue Card
