This Federal Government Department is responsible for promoting and protecting Australia's international interests to support security and prosperity. Working alongside other law enforcement, national security and internationally focused departments, this team ensures awareness and compliance with Australian laws and agreements with international partnerships.

Your new role

This team is looking for expressions of interest from candidates who are interested in pursuing a career that involves compliance, enforcement and regulatory law. Your new role may involve litigation, legal policy development, regulatory advice, intelligence analyst. The positions available range from an APS5 level through to EL2.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be a considered candidate for these multiple positions, you must have experience working within the APS and hold a security clearance. You will thrive in these positions if you have had experience in one or multiple of the following areas:

• Foreign Policy
• Compliance and regulatory environments
• Litigation and law & enforcement.

Candidates with a legal degree & qualifications are encouraged to apply, as well as candidates who are seeking a section 26 transfer.

What you'll get in return

This opportunity will be offered as a section 26 transfer for suitable candidates or as a 12 month non-ongoing contract.
