Primary Teacher Year 1

We are looking for a collaborative and innovative primary teacher to join this large Catholic school.

Your new company

Located in Sydney’s growing northwest, this Catholic school caters for students from Preschool to year 12. The school boasts excellent facilities built for the purpose of catering to the growing community of the area. From humble beginnings, the school now caters for over 1700 students across P-12. The school has a focus on innovative learning and teaching, fostering creativity and innovative thinking in students whilst nurturing students' personal and faith journeys of growth.

Your new role

As a teacher of Year 1, you will support your students' learning through engaging and creative lessons and support students’ spiritual growth and personal growth. This is a full-time position commencing as soon as possible in term 2 or by term 3 at the latest. This is a full-time, ongoing position.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will:
  • Demonstrate excellent teaching pedagogy and a strong understanding of the NSW curriculum.
  • Be collegial and collaborative, supporting and collaborating with your colleagues effectively for the betterment of students' learning.
  • Demonstrate a capacity for team teaching, be versatile, adaptable and innovative
  • Have excellent communication and organisational skills, demonstrated through effective teaching practices.
  • Use technology effectively to enable and accelerate student learning as applicable.

Applicants must hold NESA registration and current working with children check to be eligible for employment as a teacher in NSW.
