Hays Recruitment are working with a global project services company to recruit a Senior Alignment Designer to join the Perth WA team. You are an experienced road designer with demonstrated knowledge of OpenRoads. This is a 12 month temporary contract in the CBD.

Your new role

Operating in this advanced team, you will perform complex technical tasks on medium to large-scale projects to deliver high outcomes to clients. Your primary responsibilities will be:

• Undertaking geometric design using OpenRoads and other design software
• Defining and integrating work streams including road safety, stormwater, structural, retaining, geotechnical, urban design, pavements, lighting, and traffic signals.
• Managing other employees to ensure timely delivery of CAD drawings and accurate documentation in accordance to the project plan
• Monitor resources to ensure availability to meet project needs
• Business development through high performance and strong relationship building

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Extensive professional experience in a similar role
• Demonstrated experience with OpenRoads software
• Tertiary qualification in Engineering
• Experience in people management and project delivery
