An Australian founded security technology organisation that utilises Artificial intelligence for its handheld, vehicle, and fixed site products for counter-attack scenarios. The company serves in various industries of defence such as government, law enforcement, critical infrastructure etc. The company design and deliver bespoke solutions for various platforms, such as terrestrial, maritime, or airborne. Your team will be working on the software and platform technologies for existing products but also for upcoming projects.

Your new role

You will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of the command and control platform.

Your responsibilities will include;

• I nfrastructure Development : Designing and building robust infrastructure components to support the orgs C2 platform on the AWS tech stack.
• System Optimisation : Ensuring optimal system performance by fine-tuning configurations, monitoring resource utilisation, and addressing bottlenecks.
• Cross Team Collaboration : Work with the rest of the software and wider technology team to develop solutions and provide insights into complex problems involving distributed systems, data engineering, security, and system resilience .
• Onsite Installations : Completing system installations at customer locations, including physical setup, software configuration, and validation testing.
• Training : Delivering training courses to customers and partners.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in Python or Go programming language
• Integration and deployment pipeline with Gitlab, CodeBuild/Deploy
• Experienced with Docker, Docker Compose and/or Kubernetes
• Experienced with AWS and IaC
• Automated configuration deployment using Ansible, Salt Stack or other
• Experienced with Linux Operating systems.
• Experience with Networking and Security
