Seeking an experienced truck driver / heavy vehicle operator, with an HC or MC licence.

We are currently working with a leader in the transport and logistics space in the Newcastle region. The role entails dealing with a range of shipping containers and general loads to and from Sydney and the Newcastle region.

Your new role

As a truck driver / heavy vehicle operator, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to their destination. You will be driving HC and/or MC trucks, operating single and multi-trailer configurations, adhering to all traffic laws, and maintaining a strong focus on safety at all times.

What you’ll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need a valid HC and/or MC driving licence and a clean driving record. Additionally:

- Experience in a similar role would be advantageous.

- Have excellent time management skills,

- The ability to work independently

- Strong commitment to safety.

- Good knowledge of correct Load Restraint techniques
