Your new role

My client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cost Analyst to support a major defence program based in Sydney. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to national defence capability while working within a dynamic and collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules using industry-standard tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Perform cost analysis and forecasting to support project planning and decision-making.
• Monitor project performance against baseline schedules and budgets.
• Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely data.
• Support risk and change management processes.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience in cost analysis and scheduling within complex projects, ideally in the defence or aerospace sector.
• Proficiency in scheduling and cost management tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• NV1 Security Clearance or ability to obtain (Australian citizenship)
