Your New Role
You will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing strategic policy initiatives, including contributing to reform programs and projects
- Analysing data, evidence and information to inform policy development and support decision-making
- Preparing high-quality policy documents, including briefing papers, reports, presentations and correspondence
- Interpreting and applying relevant legislation and policy frameworks to ensure compliance and best practice outcomes
- Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to support policy design, delivery and continuous improvement
What You Will Need to Succeed
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
- Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering strategic policy, including contributing to reform initiatives
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and information to inform policy outcomes
- Experience preparing high-quality written materials, including briefs, reports, presentations and correspondence
- Sound understanding of legislative frameworks and the ability to apply these in a policy context
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and work with limited direction
The Logistics
- Contract until 31st December 2026, with view of extension or permanency.
- Hybrid working arrangement.
- Hourly rate of $60.26 + super.
