Join a large Federal Government organisation delivering data-led compliance, risk and operational improvement initiatives. Working within a collaborative analytics environment, you will help transform complex data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and operational outcomes across a large and complex enterprise.

Your new role

• Developing and maintaining analytical queries, detection indicators and reporting solutions using SQL and other analytical tools.
• Extracting, transforming and analysing data to support compliance, operational and business reporting requirements.
• Building and maintaining dashboards and data products using tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Collaborating with data engineering teams to improve data quality and support the development of trusted data assets.
• Supporting testing, validation and quality assurance activities to ensure analytical outputs are accurate and reliable.
• Assisting with data preparation, analysis and interpretation to support wider analytics initiatives.
• Engaging with stakeholders to deliver insights aligned with operational and business priorities.

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong SQL and data analysis experience across complex datasets.
• Experience developing dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI, Tableau or similar visualisation tools.
• Knowledge of data modelling, data structures and data quality concepts.
• Experience analysing data and translating findings into meaningful business insights.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to validate and quality-check analytical outputs.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A Baseline Security Clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain one.
