Hays has partnered with one of the leading Australian banking clients who is looking for multiple .NET Developers of various seniority.

Your new role

• You will be a crucial part of a small squad within the mobile crew and will work with engineers on backend APIs.

• You'll be hands-on coding and be responsible for shaping the evolution of this system by designing and developing microservices, data access layers, REST API(s), and writing integration services for third-party API consumption, managing risk with safe deployments and automated testing, as well as learning more about back-end engineering.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven hands-on experience of developing backend applications using C# .NET Core, REST APIs and WebAPI

• Demonstrated knowledge of microservices and REST API Integration

• The ability to create database designs for both relational and NoSQL databases (e.g. MSSQL, Oracle, Snowflake)

• Building and hosting technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker)

• Source code control tools (e.g., GitHub, TeamCity)

• CloudFormation + AWS Code Pipeline, Azure DevOps)

• One of the following cloud hosting platforms: Microsoft Azure – desirable, AWS cloud

• Familiarity with public cloud engineering - AWS or Azure and Kafka/event-based architecture

• Understanding of monitoring tools and CI/CD pipeline.

• Demonstrated knowledge of security best practices and principles.

What you'll get in return

Permanent opportunity, $114k- $180k (based on experience and seniority) + Super + Bonus, Sydney CBD/Hybrid
