What Happens Now

Between Assignments

Please keep your consultant informed as to your availability - we assume you are available until you tell us otherwise! We need to know if you are planning to go away (even for just a day or two!) or if you are "off line" for any reason so that we can still put you forward for the right assignment that fits in with you.

If you accept another assignment elsewhere, please let us know immediately!

We are also keen to know if your skills are developing - that way we can be sure to represent you with your true potential! Ask your consultant about FREE UPGRADES AND ONLINE TRAINING

On Assignment

Once we have found you an assignment, and you have accepted, your consultant maintains contact with you on a regular basis. Please also call us regularly, particularly on the day you start so we can set up a contact number for you. Make sure you have your consultants' phone number, timesheets and payment procedures with you to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Please bear in mind you are representing us. We expect a high degree of professionalism at all times, as well as respect for the policies, procedures and culture of the company where you are working. The expectations of temporaries and contractors are often higher than those of your full-time colleagues - you will be expected to hit the ground running and know everything straight away, or at least be able to learn quickly!

As a temporary, you often don't get any feedback or formal performance reviews, however we do ask clients for feedback on your performance and make a point of passing it on to you for your own reference.

Finishing Assignments

Once you are in an assignment, you are in the best position to market yourself within that company. Don't be afraid to look for further opportunities - ask if there are any other areas or departments where your skills might be needed. If you can see opportunities but don't feel comfortable investigating, let your consultant know and they will make enquiries.

Most assignments have an "end date" but often go beyond that. You need to keep us posted of any changes in your schedule so that we can make sure everybody is happy! Sometimes plans change, on both sides, and if we know in advance we can help to minimise any inconvenience.

We want your feedback too - let us know what you thought of the assignment, the company and of course our service! From time to time you may receive surveys about our service - please be frank as we do value your input as to how we can improve.
